Steam Thruster One
for CubeSats and Small Satellites.
Description
One of the key features of the Steam Thruster One, is its tailored design and manufacturing approach, which allows for customisation to meet various mission requirements.
Unlike other propulsion systems, the Steam Thruster One utilizes low-pressure water as its main propellant. This not only ensures safety but also makes it non-toxic and easy to handle. It can be seamlessly integrated into any satellite.
The nominal thrust of the Steam Thruster One is 6mN at 20W. However, if more resources are available, higher thrust can be achieved upon request. Additionally, due to its simple design, this propulsion system does not cause any RF or magnetic interference.
Typical use-cases include:
- orbit adjustments
- constellation management
- collision avoidance
- de-orbiting
01. Customisable Water Tanks
02. High Thrust
The Steam Thruster One provides 6 mN or more of thrust to perform quick maneuvers and minimise payload’s downtime.
