By harnessing state-of-the-art space propulsion technologies, we empower satellite operators to navigate orbits and execute precision maneuvers with confidence. Our space thrusters are engineered to optimize performance, reliability, and efficiency in space missions.

Our commitment to space innovations extends beyond traditional propulsion systems, embracing sustainable and environmentally friendly propellants to minimize the impact on space environments. We strive to push the boundaries of space propulsion, continuously seeking new frontiers in cubesat propulsion technology to support the evolving needs of the space industry.

01Strategy

SteamJet’s dedicated team provides in-depth consultations to identify the perfect thruster for the unique mission requirements. From understanding your mission to exceeding expectations, we power the success of your cubesat or small satellite mission with a tailored propulsion technology. We prioritize our clients’ success by providing the optimal propulsion solution for your specific mission.

02PRODUCTION

SteamJet provides reliable access to space through its product line. We can achieve this through innovative construction, advanced water-propulsion technology, and enhanced control systems. These high-level technologies enable us to participate in more advanced and long-term space missions.

03INNOVATION

At our space propulsion company, innovation isn’t just a concept; it’s a way of life. We believe that true innovation comes from solving real-world challenges. Our dedication to innovative and forward-thinking solutions motivates us to constantly push the limits of space exploration and contribute to the industry’s progress.

Orbital Mobility

As thousands of small satellites enter space, most lack the necessary agility to navigate increasingly crowded environments. SteamJet Space provides the essential infrastructure for the propulsion gap, bridging the divide with TRL 9 (Flight Proven) technology. Unlike traditional systems, our solutions move beyond high-pressure tanks or toxic fuels to prioritise safety and performance.

By utilising water — the industry’s most sustainable propellant — we eliminate launch hazards and radically simplify ground operations for small satellite constellations. As FCC and ESA mandates now make active de-orbiting and collision avoidance mandatory, SteamJet offers the most cost-effective, ITAR-free solution for global operators to ensure mission success and long-term orbital mobility.

01MISSION ARCHITECTURE & STRATEGY

SteamJet’s engineering team provides more than just hardware; we offer mission-critical consultancy to optimise your satellite’s orbital lifecycle. From initial feasibility studies to final integration, we tailor our water-based propulsion technology to your specific Delta-V requirements. By aligning our strategy with your mission goals, we ensure maximum ROI through extended satellite lifespans and precise asset management.

02SCALABLE PRODUCTION

Reliability is the cornerstone of the space economy. SteamJet’s production facility is optimized for the rapid delivery of flight-proven (TRL 9) propulsion systems. Our manufacturing process combines innovative modular construction with rigorous quality control to support high-volume constellation deployments. By maintaining in-house assembly and optimising our unit economics, we reduce lead times, drive down COGS, and provide a secure, ITAR-free supply chain that makes large-scale constellations financially sustainable.

03FORWARD-THINKING INNOVATION

Innovation at SteamJet is anchored in the transition to a circular space economy. By developing and deploying our current propulsion products for orbital use today, we are actively validating the core technology required for the deep-space infrastructure of tomorrow. Our R&D roadmap is strategically focused on In-Situ Resource Utilisation (ISRU), ensuring that the same thrusters providing reliability in Earth’s orbit will eventually be refuelled using water harvested directly from the Moon or asteroids. We aren’t just building for today’s missions; we are establishing the propulsion standard for a future where interplanetary logistics are powered by local celestial resources.

The team

SteamJet is led by a founding team that bridges high-level aerospace engineering with a proven track record of scaling global deep-tech ventures.

Our technical core is rooted in precision heritage, including leadership roles in the Airbus A350-XWB program and specialised research in supersonic micro-jets. The team’s innovation is anchored by proprietary technology, including our granted patent for an electrothermal subassembly of steam thrusters and advanced propellant tank designs currently in application.

We have successfully transitioned this innovation into a flight-proven TRL 9 technology, with more than seven units already operating successfully in orbit. This commercial maturity is backed by serial entrepreneurs who have scaled complex businesses across the UK, Europe, and the US.

By maintaining a global supply chain, we ensure the operational stability required for mass-scale satellite constellation support. Together, we combine the disciplined execution of an aerospace prime with the agility needed to define the future of sustainable orbital mobility.

SteamJet is hiring

From time to time, we open new positions and look for driven, talented people to join our team. We’re always open to strong candidates. If you’re interested in working with us, feel free to send your CV.

We’ll keep it on file and reach out when something comes up.

SteamJet is open to Investments

The small satellite market is undergoing a radical shift, projected to grow from $9.35 billion in 2025 to over $32 billion by 2030, driven by the explosion of LEO mega-constellations.

In this high-growth landscape, SteamJet offers a disruptive, sustainable solution to the industry’s most pressing challenge: the need for safe, high-performance in-space mobility. Our water-based technology addresses the $1.27 billion satellite propulsion market by replacing hazardous chemical fuels with an abundant, “green” propellant that simplifies logistics and reduces launch costs.

With seven thrusters already successfully operating in orbit, our hardware has moved beyond the lab and into the operational phase. As the industry pivots toward “space sustainability” and collision avoidance, SteamJet’s compact, external-mount design allows operators to maximise payload capacity without sacrificing manoeuvrability. We are now scaling our production to meet the demands of global constellation providers who require reliable, mass-produced propulsion units at a competitive price point.

By investing in SteamJet, you are backing a proven deep-tech leader with a first-mover advantage in the move toward a cleaner, more mobile orbital economy. We invite visionary partners to join us as we propel the next generation of space infrastructure toward a multi-trillion-dollar future.
